Biodata
I am Mongshi and is currently a year 3 NUS undergraduate pursuing my Bachelor of Science, major in Life Science with concentration in Biomedical Science. Since young, I had found great interest in Science Subjects. Out of the three Science subjects that I took in the past, my favorite was Biology. This was why I chose to take up biomedical Science in NUS. Most importantly, I hope I can use what I have learnt to contribute to the healthcare sector of Singapore. Apart from having great interest in Biology, I also enjoy outdoor activities like playing netball, cycling and many more. I was the marketing Director of NUS Netball Club and I had a great time working with my team to organize activities and tackling any problems that came along. Through the process, I picked up leadership and communication skills and they will be put to good use when I start working. I love traveling the most because I am passionate to know more about the cultures, people and landscapes of different countries. I wish to earn enough money to travel around the world before I get old.

Dear Mongshi,
Your Biodata is very concise and it portrays your interest in Biology. As a Lifescience student, it will be an added advantage to include the skills you learnt during practical. Also, I would like to find out more about your contribution as a marketing director in the Netball Club. Perhaps you would like to mention about the events you organized. What is the comparison you intend to make when you mentioned that you “love traveling the most”? Overall, this entry gave me the impression that you have the problem-solving ability and will work hard to solve problems faced in the course of pursuing your interests. Keep it up!
Madeline
Your biodata is straight to the point and clear. However you may want to add in more details so that the readers can understand you more. You have mentioned about your current events then how about your past?
It’s nice knowing that you have a passion in Biology too. I think if one does not have the passion for Biology, s/he cannot ‘tolerate’ the Life Science course.
I also love traveling around because it is a learning journey when we travel to other countries. Let pray that we can fulfill our dream – travel around the world.
Dear Mong Shi
I agree with our other 2 classmates that your biodata is concise and to the point.
However, I would like to point out one area that I feel you can improve on. Maybe instead of ending your biodata with "I wish to earn enough money to travel around the world before I get old", you could turn into a personal statement like... "My life-long is to travel the world to experience different cultures etc..."
Employers would then see you in a much more positive light, as someone who is very adaptabe and willing to try new experiences.
Cheers

Hey mongshi
The conciseness of the biodata may be good and appeals to potential employers as you have effectively covered a lot of information in the short paragraph.
I also liked the idea that besides from stating the achievements you have accomplished, you brought out your interest of travelling around the world. It will highlight to the readers that you are also a fun-loving person besides work. Well done!
Dear Mongshi,
From your clear and concise biodata, it reveals to me your ability to be a good team player, in both academically and non-academically, which are good benefits.
And, being a marketing director of a club is not so easy, you need to organize events, plan meetings and also maintain good relationship with your committee. From these experiences and knowledge you gained, you definitely can be a dynamic person at work.
I also love travelling to be able to explore the different culture and know more about the different people in different countries. Moreover, we not only need money to explore, we also need good health!
May our dream come true! Cheers!
Hey Mongshi,
As what the others had commented, I think your BioData was quite focus and concise. It was detail as what you want in life and the strengths that you possess.
Overall, I think your BioData was quite well done, except for the last line. As mentioned by guangyi earlier, it would be good if you say something like " I love traveling because i'm a person who likes to experience culture of others..." instead of saying you want to earn lots of money for traveling as this will make your BioData sound a little less professional. :P

Dear Mongshi,
I agree with Madeline that u could perhaps introduce some of the wet and dry laboratory skills that u are equipped that might better showcase your ability to contribute to the health care industry. Overall, you biodata reflects the people-loving trait in you, convincing readers of your ability to work well with people.
